Matt Wedel

Matt Wedel (b. 1983, Palisade, CO) is a ceramics artist currently living and working in Athens, OH. Wedel received his MFA in ceramics from California State University and BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in venues across the world including Hall & Coe in London, UK; Omi International Art Center in Ghent, NY; Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, MT; David Klein Gallery in Detroit, MI; and The Hines Property in Los Angeles, CA. Wedel's work belongs to public collections at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation in Los Angeles, CA; and the Long Beach Museum of Art in Long Beach, CA.
