Daniel Brian Evans

Daniel Brian Evans (b. 1968) was raised in Louisville, Kentucky and attended undergrad at Morehead State University (MN).  At MSU, clay seduced him away from his budding horticultural career and he went on to participate as a special student of ceramics at Virginia Commonwealth University. He was a Resident Artist at the Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, Montana and received his MFA in ceramics from the NY State College of Ceramics at Alfred University (2005). Evans' work has been exhibited at SOFA Chicago, the NCECA Clay National Biennial Exhibition and his sculptures and vessels are in numerous private collections. He currently lives in Bloomington, Indiana, and has Co-founded the Bloomington Clay Studio, the nonprofit The Quarry Projects and the I. Fell LLC- an art space development organization.
