Asato Ikeda 麻人 池田

Asato Ikeda was born in Tobe Cho (1979), the Ehime prefecture in Japan. In 1997 he graduated from a ceramics program at Arita Technical High School in Saga, Japan. From 2006 to 2008 he was dispatched as a Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer by the Japanese government and taught ceramics to underprivileged children.
Since 2008, he has explored his own creative pottery process in Ryu-sen, Tobecho, exhibiting in numerous galleries in Tokyo.
